Hi, I'm Del. I'm a natural-light photographer based in Carson City, and I photograph families, couples, and pets outdoors across Northern Nevada — Reno, Lake Tahoe, Carson Valley, and the Sierra in between.

My sessions don't look like a posed studio shoot, and that's on purpose. I work in natural light, in places you already love, with relaxed direction instead of stiff posing. I'll tell you where to stand and give you something to do — but I'm not going to spend an hour adjusting your chin. The best photos I make are the ones where you forget I'm there for a few seconds. That's where the real ones live, and that's what I'm watching for.

When I'm not shooting, I'm usually walking my dog Lucy (non-negotiable — she runs the schedule), spending whatever time I can with my kids and my wife, and chasing live music whenever there's a show worth seeing. I live here because Northern Nevada gives me something most places can't — golden hour over the Sierra, a quiet trail ten minutes from downtown, and light that makes everything look honest.
